Hello, and welcome to my Classic Novel study. The classic novel I am studying is Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The purpose of this blog is to read, think and write independently in order to communicate a critical understanding of a work of long fiction. Through the semester I will be critically analyzing the selected piece and posting about the novel in chronological order of, in my opinion, significant points within the book, and in the end I will post a large Apologia about why Anne of Green Gables in considered to be a classic novel.
